He still loves you even after what has happened. From what you are asking in your other questions, I would say that more than likely you cheated on him and in anger and being hurt he told you to get out. But the fact is he still does love you. And you are seeing the other man right now so you need to decide what you really want, your husband and give your married another chance or go off with your new boyfriend.

He may be insecure...or the end of the relationship is finally here and he is scared to face a future with someone he has known for a long time. You should move on- don't let him keep dragging this on. Not a bad idea to cut ties with him to as it will make the whole process easier.

He doesn't want you, but doesn't want anyone else to have you either.
If you still love him, then tell him to put his money where his mouth is and start making effort...but tell him he needs to "get in line" because you will date others as well and see how it goes with him.
Let it be friendly, and don't let it get intimate for a while.

could be any of the answers, he doesnt want to see you move on even tho he is prepared to or he could still have feelings but either way.. you need to do what is right by you. If he still loves you and is willing to step up and be the man he needs to be to you then it is your choice whether to accept him back in your life. but in my humble opinion, do not give him all your attention, you may regret it especially if he doesnt prove himself true.. Again, please do right by yourself.. To Thine Own Self Be True..

Possibly he had another g/f and that fell apart? You don't provide enough information for anyone to make an educated guess.

he has had a change of heart, for one reason or another. ususally when someone tells us to move on, it means they have moved on with someone else. perhaps things aren't going so well in his new relationship and he has had a chance to think it over, and he really don't want to loose u. he must realiaze u were the better one for him.

He hasn't had any luck with the ladies. Don't fret, just ignore his plead.
