ok my best friend has known the guy i like for like 8 years but i always thought that she uses him as her back up for everythings and says well he still likes me but this guy told me he liked me and messenger and i was so excited and a told my best frinend and she said he lied to me and my other firend says that she just doesnt want him to be my boyfriend i have no idea what to do hellp

she probably doesn't want you to date him because maybe she wants a back up date when shes alone. ask her. try to be supportive to what she says.

Just ask him out I know I like this girl a lot named Olivia and I told her and asked her out and she said no but if she asked me out I would be just so happy I seriously dream about her asking me out I might be obsessing over her but whatever just ask him out and it will be even better cuz you like him too so just ask him out the worst that could happen would be he says no and he probably won't.

maybe your bestfriend get jealous with your future boyfriend because she thinks that it will go between your friendship and you will spend a lot more time with your b f than with her. you should be glad because thats normal
