It's apparent that you have never opened a Bible, so please stop showing your ignorance. The Bible is all about loving thy neighbor as thyself. Love the sinner, hate the sin. Love thy enemy. Turn the other cheek. Everyone is capable of finding faults in others when they do not have any knowledge. It would be perfectly normal for people to judge Islam on the actions of terrorists who say "Death to the infidel." That doesn't sound like Muslims tolerate their enemies, does it?

In his book, "Islam and Terrorism", the former professor of Islamic history at Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt (pen name: Mark A. Gabriel, PHD) says on Page 5-6: "Even the prophet of Islam, Muhammad, practiced his faith in many ways that contradicted the Quran. The Quran said that Muhammad was sent to show the mercy of God to the world. But he became a military dictator, attacking, killing and taking plunder to finance his empire. How is that showing mercy? Mark further writes: Allah, the god revealed in the Quran, is not a loving father. It says that he desires to lead people astray (Surah 6:39, 126; 43:36-37). He does not help those who are led astray by him (Surah 30:29) and desires to use them to populate hell (Surah 32:13)". So, the Qur'an says that the god of Islam works with Satan and demons to lead people astray.

Islam is a Great "Religion" !? And Allahu Akbar!? Allah is Great!?

How else can you explain that his "Prophet" - Mohammad had 9 or 12 wives? That he married women who were older than himself, at first, because they were wealthy; starting with Khadijah the owner of the caravan he worked for, who was around 46 when he was in his 20's and then another 65 year old woman whose name I forgot, a few years later, who was also, incidentally, very wealthy? And then some more, whose names I've forgotten. And after he made himself the "Prophet" and defeated his enemies, he turned on young women, when he was middle aged and finally, married a 9 year old girl when he was in his 50's!?

How can you explain the massacres that were made in the name of Islam, right from it's inception, of the worshipers of Amon Ra of Egypt, the Babylonians of present day Iraq, the Parsees of present day Iran, and oh so many others?

How can you explain the more recent atrocities like the 9/11, the London and Indian bombings, the TV broadcast of the "execution" by slowly slitting the throat of the Western Journalist who dared to criticize them, the training of children to become terrorists in their madrases and so on and so forth?

Why, of course Allah is the most Merciful!?

“Good and evil cannot be equal. [Prophet], repel evil with what is better and your enemy will become as close as an old and valued friend, but only those who are steadfast in patience, only those who are blessed with great righteousness, will attain to such goodness.”

hello brother. quran does not only tells to tolerate your enemy but it is clearly written in quran that if the enemy comes to u seeking for the help , take him to the safest place and protect him . this clealy tells that humanity and love is given first preference in islam , but jesus have never said to protect ur enemy he just mentions it to love ur enemy .and u can love ur enemy can u tolerate ? i can surely tell u if ur own friend try to bugg u , you cant tolerate him even for a single minute even though you love him.

Don't bother to warn the disbelievers. Allah has blinded them. Theirs will be an awful doom. 2:6

Allah has sickened their hearts. A painful doom is theirs because they lie. 2:10

A fire has been prepared for the disbelievers, whose fuel is men and stones. 2:24

Disbelievers will be burned with fire. 2:39, 90

If you believe in only part of the Scripture, you will suffer in this life and go to hell in the next. 2:85

You can see from this Quran verse. God(ALLAH) says not only to tolerate your enemy but to escort them to a secure place. ALLAH has given us the sense to choose what is right for us. We should read Quran about what it says. And should follow it because Quran is the ALLAH book. Before that Bible and other book were also ALLAH book. But that was for that nation only. Now for all of us ALLAH reviled Quran on our last PROPHET MUHAMMAD(Peace be upon him). Which shows us the right path to follow.
