The reason I ask is because, of all my tattoos none of them are raised except for one with red ink.

you might bE allergic to the red dye... but no you dont need to go deeper of diff colors...

not that i know of. sometimes the artist will go less deep to make shading lighter. but i think the skin depth is pretty standard. maybe your skin has a slight reaction to inks other than red?

No the ink is still under the 1st layer of skin.

no i dont think that those people will harm the skin of the customer......
they dont do it ....
