Sorry to hear that Lily that your curly hair bother you so much.
Dont know about any permanent remedy bt try these hot oil treatment...they will not straighten your hair but they will amke them much softer and conditioned.
Try them.
Hot oil massages: Warm 2 tsp. of olive oil and 2 tsp. coconut oil and gently massage every part of the scalp for 10-15 minutes. Rinse a towel in hot water, wipe and wind the hair around the head as it cools. Repeat 2 or 3 times to issue total saturation. After that, shampoo and rinse well. It is good for brittle dry hair.
Hot Caster oil massage: Warm ½ cup of castor oil, massage into scalp and gently comb it. Bind the hair with hot towel on the head, wait for 30 minutes. Shampoo and rinse. As it is home made is so good to use for scanty hair.
Clove oil honey massage. Stir well ½ cup of green olive oil with 1 cup of liquid honey. Shake vigorously. Keep the mixture to settle for a day or two. Massage into the scalp and comb it not touching the scalp. After massaging cover hair with plastic shower cap. Make it air tight to let the heat penetrate, leave like that for 20 to 30 minutes. Then shampoo and rinse well. It is good for dark hair to keep it shining and lustrous.
Take care!

Your story is more of a psychological problem than a hair problem.
And no hair chemical treatment or herbal solution will cure that.
My suggestion: have it relaxed or straightened in a beauty parlor.
After that, stop thinking about it. Let it be. For a few weeks, have it straigntened again. I know my suggestion is a bit expensive. But if this is the only thing that will make you feel good about yourself then shoulder the burden.

I think the grass is always greener on the other side. If you had straight hair you would be going crazy trying to curl it. Curly hair is awesome!!! Perhaps find a good stylist that will work with you hair and give you a cut the flatters you hair style. If you prefer not to do that then I would suggest a good straightener, talk to a professional concerning which products would best help you to accomplish this. I think they would need to see your hair before discerning the best products.

I feel your pain. I have unimmaginable hair too. Don't go for anything chemical, because in the end, you'll totally regret it. I sujest after shampooing your hair, try Suave conditioner, and after showereing, DONT blow dry your hair. Let it dry naturally. You curls will settle incredibley after some time. Don't grow your hair long. Kepp it shoulder lenght, and keep it tied in different styles. Get side bangs, and use a straightner to straighten just the bangs. You'll look great. I did it, and trust me, everyone will notice how great you look!

Curly hair is so SEXY. However most women are not happy with what they got - it's natural!
YUKO is a Japanese hair treatment that costs a fair bit of money but if you search the web you can see the results of it!
You can't change it unless you use chemicals or you invest in a great set of GHD's!!!
Good luck

i got my hair straightened for years because it was so "unmanageable" and my mom didn't no what to do with it... but then my hair got SUPER damaged... and then i grew out the chemicals and now it's curly again... i did a lot of research and taught myself how to take care of it... the point is no hair is unmanageable u just haven't learned how to manage it... besides curly hair is so full of personality... straight hair is lame... u should visit naturallycurly.com it's a good website to learn from

*You know you can get your hair perfessionally straightened. My friend did it and now her hair went from curly and wild to perfectly straight. It lasts for about a year then you'd have to get it redone, but if I were you I'd try it out. By the way, my friends hair looks ssssssssooooooo pretty!*
