All mortal men are born to die.The word of God provides salvation to his people and without it we die in our sins. John 1
:1-4 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

God's Word is incomprehensible to humans, thus rendering holy books unworthy of being entitled "God's Word." This applies especially to the Bible. The holy books of the world may indeed have been divinely inspired, but they are not the Word of God. Humans haven't the intelligence to decipher the messages of divine beings, but we will evolve to the point of understanding one day.

Only if I can discern it.There is so much information,I'm still learning to sift the wheat from the chaff.I believe the bible contains "God's word",but I don't believe it IS,"God's word".I'm still learning.

First you have to find god's word separated from the myth that every one is shoving down our throats. Then I will consider it.
