I would not call that a relationship..
That is more of an affair...

LOLOLOL Have I ever! I remember (years ago) Andrew. Boy, what a catch, newly qualified doctor, clever, - medical schools chasing HIM to get him as an intern. We were briefly (unofficially) engaged. He was waiting the right moment to tell his parents that he was wanting to marry somebody he hadn't got their advance approval of. I was getting these signals left and right, but I kept hanging in there, giving it benefit of doubt. He did eventually take me home to meet Mom and Dad. We were briefly introduced, he told them we were going to see a movie, and then he and Mommy disappeared for fifteen minutes or so. Came back into the room and we said our goodnights. In the car I noticed we were going the wrong way to the Movie House where t his movie was showing. I said "we should be going that way" Without so much as batting an eye, he said "Oh, we're going to see (I forget now what other movie it was). Mother says it's really good and we should see it instead" Hooo Boy, if that wasn't going to give me a clue, nothing was. I really did care for him, and it hurt. But I don't ignore that kind of screaming message, and I told him a few days later that I didn't think we were on the same wavelength. I thought he would at least argue with me, but when he didn't, I knew for sure I was right. This guy, for all his medical prowess, and educational level, was one of those "girly-men" who can't handle a strong-minded woman, and just crumble. Andrew wasn't looking for a wife, he was wanting to marry somebody who would just take over from Mommy.
Sigh, I hope he found what he was looking for. I sure did.

Yes. I was in London and was crazy about a guy from Australia. We had about 3 months together. I knew we would both end up going back to our lives in our own countries. We just enjoyed the time we had and parted knowing that was the end of it.

Who in their right mind would enter a relationship knowing it will end? Unless of course they're only enjoying the company for the moment and not making it a long-term thing.

The holidays are arriving soon; better start shifting bfs.

if u have an intuition that the relationship is doomed and that it will end, than don't waste time on it, don't invest in it. we need to pay attention to our intuition and follow it, it is usually right on the money. if we feel unconfortable or feel it isn't right, than why continue it, get out of it now before it gets serious and you get hurt.
