Yes, in the sense that they do not recognize Him as the Messiah. They bad mouth him and even called Him the bastard child of a Roman soldier with the Virgin Mary..
They look at Christ as an outsider and just the son of a carpenter who was crucified for nothing. They think that their Messiah should come as a conquering hero and an overpowering person, or maybe they think their Messiah should come from within the ranks of their Pharisees or Sanhedrins. They do not honor and respect God's will that the Messiah should be a role model or the epitome of humility and perfect obedience.
Unless they recognize Him and accept Him as the Messiah, they wil never, never obtain peace like their counterpart the Islamists who also reject Jesus Christ.

this is perhaps too much of an overgeneralization...
some Jews do some don't
the group of ethnically Jewish peoples is very broad... many of very liberal and some very conservative, probably you would find different reasons for each
Some think quite highly of Jesus, some don't. Not an area to oversimplify
There are compelling reasons to believe Jesus is the fulfillment of the Jewsish prophesies about the Messiah. In Daniel 3 God gets the eternal kingdom . In Daniele 7 the son of man comes with the clouds and gets the eternal kingdom. I think there are compelling reasons that Jesus is the Son of Man coming with the clouds in Daniel 7 as well as many otehr prophesies.
some of it has to do with non familiraity with the scriptures some of it is because God has not opened their eyes... a common problem for all people... harly only one ethnic group...
Just as Esther put herself under the curse of the Law going before the King to save the Jews and was a picture of Jesus putting himself under the curse of the law to redeem, us, the Jews and the world, there is a scarlet thread of images of the Messiag from Genesis to Zechariah of the Messiah... but vield until God allows a person to see

You obviously know nothing about Judaism for you to even ask.
No, Jews do not hate Jesus.
That's not the reason that Jews don't believe that he was the Messiah.
Jesus didn't fulfill the "job description"; the Messiah, according to Judaism, would be a human leader who would restore the Jewish monarchy, drive out the Roman invaders, set up an independent Jewish state, and inaugurate an era of peace, justice, and prosperity for the whole world.
Jesus may have believed that he was all that, but he in fact did not fulfill the requirements.

How can you despise someone whom you don't believe was important in history? I am not Jewish (I am not Christian either), but it is my understanding that Jewish people don't really have an opinion of Jesus other than that he was NOT the son of God.
You also have to understand that Jewish people are not just a religion, but a genetic heritage. It is more than just belief, but traditions and lineage.
Jewish people believe what they do for the same reasons that Christians do. It is what they have been taught since birth. It is hard for someone to change what they have known as the truth (whatever that person's truth may be) since they were old enough to understand.

If the Jewish people had understood the prophecies of Isaiah, they could have understood that Messiah have been given right here first a million) to pay the fee for guy's sins (with the aid of dying on the pass, this is the curse of putting on a tree), this mandatory to be complete with the aid of a individual, and with the aid of a spotless guy, typified in the Levitical sacrifices in the process the spotless lamb. THEN 2) Messiah ought to rule and reign with surprising righteousness. on account that Israel rejected Christ by way of fact the Messiah, the Gentile era is now in effect. whilst Jesus Christ returns the 2d time, each of those prophecies will actual be fulfilled. you will possibly study the suited few chapters of the e book of Revelation with the prophecies of Ezekiel, Zechariah, and Isaiah.

No, Jews remain indifferent to Jesus. The fact is that Jesus' teachings were meant to strengthen the Jewish community and it's beliefs. He himself was a Jew and the goal of his ministry was not to draw attention to himself as divine, but rather to root out corruption in the temples and empower the people through god. It wasn't until the time of Paul that he was deified and Christianity was created.

there are some Jews who do believe that Jesus is the Messiah, others are still awaiting Him, while most are haters of Jesus and are like this because they follow the poison of the Babylonian Talmud, and these even disrespect those Jews who follow the real Bible,,the Torah.
