Those of you been married, did you take any professional lesson for your dance steps or just strut your best? Thanks. I'm getting married in less than a month, i'm wondering what everyone did for their wedding. :)

I am a 60 year old man, so I hope you don't mind me answering this question.
I took no special dancing lessons, and neither did my bride. That special first dance was ours. I didn't care if anyone was watching us or not. It was our special moment.

No dance lessons were required for us.
Don't get too caught up in the pomp and circumstance. If it gets to that point, remember it is more about the marriage than the WEDDING day.

Professional lessons are a great thing to have!! It only takes 304 to get what you need for your big day. I have done weddings where the bride and groom have learned a choreographed dance that reflected their personalities...it was a lot of fun!!

I'm not married YET, but i will have to say try your best you don't want to be all fake on your wedding day. Just dance like you mean it.

Strut your best stuff and don't worry about it. If you are a little bit intimidated, ask the wedding party or guests to join in....

My friend and her fiancee took lessons to learn the waltz for they're wedding dance. It was so cool to see them gliding on the dance floor like professionals.

One recent groom I know could NOT dance & really didn't want to.

But he took enough lessons to choreograph his first dance with his new bride, because he wanted to do this for her. It was beautiful!

Enjoy your wedding - have fun! Don't worry about what others think, do what feels right to you. If you are having fun, the guests will also.
