I suppose so. President Bush joined the Texas National Air Guard in order to escape being drafted to Vietnam. He likes war, but is afraid of it, and has no idea how to manage it as president.

Bush was NEVER ordered to report to Vietnam. He was hiding out in the Air National Guard going AWOL while campaigning for an Alabama Congressional candidate. He was in the Air Guard because Daddy was influential, had money and pulled strings to get little Georgey into the Air Guard. That was where all the cowards hid - the Guard.

That explains the fails in the straggle against terrorism and also explains the fail to prove that there have been any terrorism. How can someone like wars in that way, where there's no cause. And as for your answer, I'd say, no one should be treated as Lt. Bush cause he can end up being a person so destructive for no reason like President Bush.

Of course he was derelict, but the rules are different for the wealthy elite. Part of the downside to the straight Capitalism that our government has been advocating for the last century is that money can buy anything. Just ask OJ.

Besides, Bush has done far worse things since then.

Sure he was in derelict of duty and I have very little respect for him for what he did and got away with. But also look at what John Kerry did. I can't decide who was worse. It's a shame we have people like these in office.

I don't recall hearing the GWB was ever called for duty in Vietnam. This doesn't mean that it isn't so, there is however, the question of his whereabouts for long periods of time. For all we know, his whereabouts may be classified information, even today. After all, his father was part of the snoop group way back when, maybe he was using family, you know, like nepotism to get his work done.

No, President Bush has no longer abdicated his universal jobs because of the fact the duly elected President of the US. i'd argue that that's barely the coward, as you daftly placed it, who could make such formidable statements at the back of the anonymity of a humorous demonstrate call and avatar.

Those were the false facts that got Dan Rather fired from CBS.
Check your facts maybe uninformed people should try to pay attention to the informed.
Zakir we were attacked by terrorists on 9/11 and if you don't believe me watch Fox News tonight at 9 pm eastern time.

I don't recall such a "failing to report" on his part. He served honorably in the National Guard, which was a valid option offered by the U.S. military that many young men chose. If it wasn't acceptable, then why did our fighting forces offer it?

The National Guard uinits are vital to our country's interests and we'd be lost without them. The liberals have converted legitimate service into something to criticize, even as these same people excuse others for going to Canada.
