I go to a boys-only Catholic high school (there's a girls-only one down the way), and a part of the dress code states I have to wear dress pants, tucked-in collared shirt, belt, and neat hair. I wear a tie too, because it both seems to get me better grades and also looks very nice.

I wear nice cordoroys, nice shirts with a tie, and generally have a very neat, professional experience... are there *ANY* girls at this age who find this attractive, or do they really just want the guy who is crazy-fun dressed?

The girls' high school hardly has a dress code at all.

Women love it when guys are all dressed up, even if you're just wearing a polo shirt you should always dress up for them!

Don't worry about it. Try talking to some of those girls who have a dress code too. You know you have at least two things in common. Religion and dress codes.

Yes, but I like it a lot more when the guy is the only one around dressed like that. The guy I'm attracted to now wears suits to school every day. (He's student council president, and he takes his position WAY too seriously.)

If they are smart they will go for the shirt and tie and stay away from the other. I know some older girls might like it.

A shirt and tie combo is quite attractive to women in general. Most women don't want a sloppy looking man (at least I don't) so keep on looking good!!!!!

i know I've always admired a man well dressed in a suit and tie with shirt tucked in, it just looks very well professional and well groomed.

It's not the shirt and tie that matters, but the boy who is wearing them!

Collared shirt with jeans is nice, but not with the tie.

Dress however you want; don't be concerned with what others like.
