At thirteen, there are rules that apply, and you have to
realize if you do not obey, you can knock out some potential.
13 IS the newest experience in life for those that are 12, sooo
teenage being an entire class economically of its own, actual
laws were written. Churches especially made rules. Some
are maybe not often spoken about, like girls approaching
boys is a go, a slow go, a total go. I am saying this one first
because in the strictest families(and you should know whom)
betrothal does make a difference. Another rule is about
kissing, many families have a sensitive nose, and this is an
area to invest wisely. Types of kisses can also be used to
make serious friendship, like good luck for athletes or bosses.
Finally what about career features. Similar interests is very
nice, and when you do your homework about the boys family
you need be honest, what if it is a betrothal type. Similar
interests allow some good chat to add to your input and can
be usually allowed at school for good friendships. Write up a
list of REALISTIC persons that you could work with later in
your mature life and study your new relationships with these
points of consideration. Fare consideration itself is a nice
quality. Blessings for good children God loves all of us. Areas
of 13 local interest: work, favorite colors, magic rainbows,
fun games for learning like tetris, scrabble, upword, and
hobbies for collecting, crafting or valuables.

Hmm, the best way to break the ice is to relax the nerves. Usually saying someting funny or starting a convo on a topic you both love is good. I think you should go for something you both love, since you both love the same things, try telling him an info he probably doesn't know or will find useful, then ask him "why" (why do you like it?)and "how" (how did you do that? ) questions. When you ask "why and how" questions it shows that you value what they think/their opinions and it guarantees you a long answer and along the way you can say your own opinions too. It also shows interest and it gives him a chance to ask you right back and thus, you're friends now, the ice is broken.

According to some professionals true love can start when you're like 14. I can't say I agree with that but hey, what do I know?

Anyway as for your question why don't you get up the courage, walk up to him, and say "Hey, I really like you. Want to go hang out at this cafe down the street?" It doesn't have to be just like that, but you know, get the river going a bit faster.
