To each his own. If it makes you a better person go for it.

Usually sex changes happen after a serious evaluation of the person in question. A person that goes under a sex changehad done a lot of harm to the private areas, the person had tryed to commit suicide. Who goes under ex change is reaaly because there is no other option besides death. It is a man/woman trapped in another body.

My opinion: No matter what case, you dont like your hair, your boobs, your nails, you should change. You should do what make you happy in life and those people are very miserable. They deserve to be happy.

Sex change in animals
Some species are known to change sex, including reproductive functions, in special circumstances, such as the clownfish. A school of clownfish is always built into a hierarchy with a female fish at the top. When she dies, the most dominant male changes sex and takes her place.

Sex change in humans
Sex Change is a term often used for gender reassignment therapy, that is all medical procedures transgendered people can have, or specifically to sexual reassignment surgery, which usually refers to genital surgery only. It is also sometimes used for the medical procedures intersex people undergo, or, more often, are subjected to as children.

"Sex change" is sometimes also used for the whole process of changing gender role and the medical procedures associated with it. Since changing of gender role, i.e. living as a woman instead of living as a man, or living as a man instead of living as a woman, is much more important to almost all transgendered people than any medical procedures, this use is even more inaccurate. (Of course, medically induced changes and surgeries are often needed to make a change of gender role at all possible, both socially and legally. Also, they can have a very significant impact on the well-being of people having them.)

Many people also see "sex change" as factually inaccurate. [1] Sex in humans is usually determined by four factors:

Chromosomes
Gonads (Ovaries and/or testicles)
Hormone status
Primary sex characteristics, sometimes also secondary sex characteristics
Not all of these factors can be changed, however:

Chromosomes cannot be changed.
Gonads can be removed, but not replaced
Hormone status is easily changed
Existing sex characteristics can to some extent be changed; existing ones mostly through surgery, non-existing ones can be induced to grow through hormones.
For example: Changing a male genital anatomy into a good or even excellent female appearing and functioning one is complicated, but entirely possible; changing a female genital anatomy into an even reasonably male appearing one however is extremely complicated and not successful very often; function is always limited.
Psychology aspects:

- We all construct views of events, situations, ourselves, and others. In other words express personal views towards our environment. Starting from the dichotomic ideas by viewing the world in bi-polar ways through experiences we have bad. The experiences we have had in our past determines the choices we make in the future. Depending on the experience varies from how strict or flexible the choices are. This manifests our constructive alternativism (George Kelly). Kelly believes each of us construct our own reality. An example of this is sex changes. These big changes in one’s life is also known as fragmentation. This fits a role in the community that belongs.

I think that if someone wants to have it done, let them do it. No one should be judged by what they want for themselves. Even though we have a hell of a lot of judgemental people in this world, it's whatever makes them happy. My opinion about sex change is that if that's what they want let it be. Don't try and talk them out of it.

my opinion on sex change is that if you feel that it will make you happy then do it. Do not do it to make someone else happy. I have seen some really good looking Tgirls in Thailand and they seemed to be happy with their decision. but I have also seen people ridicule them for doing it. if you are doing it then just be prepared to loose some friends and have people change their view of you.

The body we have been born into is part of the lessons and journeys of self-acceptance we need to undertake in this lifetime.

Just as we need to make peace with the family we have been born, with the life experiences we have gone through, we also have to eventually make peace with what we have been born into and that includes our physical body as well, the body we have chosen as soul to incarnate through in this life time is part of lesson embedded in it.

And no matter how imperfect the situations of life might seem, they are indeed perfect for us to learn our impending life lesson, which automatically reveal themselves to us when we surrender or accept all that we are within as well as without.

What we have been born into is a gift, we have given to ourselves, and if what we feel within doesn't match what we see ourselves on the outside, then only self acceptance can help us make peace with who we are within. The only real change needed in life to make peaceful and joyous is self-acceptance of who we are within and also without.

Suppose we cannot make peace with who we are within, then we need to simply surrender to divine wisdom in assigning us the best body we need to carry forward our spiritual journey ahead in this life.

And in any case what we do with our life is far more crucial than what we do with our sex life.

It's a freedom of choice. It's your life and sex change is not illegal.

Sex change is clearly wrong on Biblical standards. It is sick. It is wrong.
