I am SO glad someone started this!!!

We have always encouraged our son to potty alone, etc. Just 2 weeks ago my son (will be 3 in 19 days) flushed some of our silverware down the toilet when my brother in law was watching him. Now when we flush we here a ringing of some left over silverware still in the pipe. We called out someone but they can't get to it without tearing up the place. It poses no threat, but now get music as we flush.

He has also flushed bathtoys, matchbox cars (claims he was washing them), whole rolls of toilet paper, my husbands cell phone, and coins.

The JOY of children!!

Could be worse....a son a my husband's coworker put his father's cell phone in the microwave and turned it on. No one noticed until there was smoke. Talk about kill 2 birds with one stone...ruined the microwave AND dad's work cell phone. Would have loved to be in the office when he told his boss how that happened.

My friend's son flushed his blind grandfather's sunglasses down the toilet. It took 3 weeks for them to get the toilet fixed after that. Amazingly, my toddler never flushed anything down the toilet except what he was supposed to flush. It really surprised me since my friend's son was constantly flushing something down the toilet.

I guess my son was around 1 at the time. I got him dressed and told him to put his shirt in the bathroom( that's where we keep the laundry basket) but he put it in the toilet instead. Unfortunately, it wasn't flushed! Mommy had to go fishing!! EWW!

A door from his Blues Clues play house. We had to take the toilet clear out and turn it upside down to get it out of the neck of the toilet.

my daughter once asked me if she could 'wash' her Barbies hair in the sink. I told her 'no, b/c there was no reason that the water should run for a barbie. About 10 minutes later, i realized she was REALLY quiet, so I went to check on her. Lo and behold, she had ALL of her barbies lines up on the ledge of the toilet...all of their hair completly wet...I guess I should have said yes to the whole sink idea...lol

Well, it was unintentional but my daughter was trying to change the roll herself recently and dropped the whole new tp roll into the USED toilet. I had to fish it out. It was gross.
