Exterior lights allow the plane to be visible, allows the pilots to see, and allows the logos on the plane's tail to be visible. They use light bulbs.

The lavatory is used for people unrinating and defacating. Lavs use a holding tank and the flush sequence uses pressurized blue juice or vacuum to activate.

The doors allow people and cargo to enter and exit the aircraft. They also keep the weather out and hold the pressure in the aircraft.

The coat compartments are for storing coats and other garments.

The emergency lights are battery powered and are used to provide lighting in an emergency. They include floor track lighting and emergency exit interior and exterior lighting.

Blinking red wing lights. So other pilots can see you and not run into you in the air. Some aircraft use white strobe lights also.

Landing lights. In landing, when you get to near the end of the runway, you turn the landing lights on so you can actually SEE the runway and not just the lights down it's sides.

Bathroom. When you go into the bathroom you slide the lock over to lock so no one will walk in on you. This slide also closes a switch with turns on the OCCUPIED light.

Interior lights. Controlled by you so you can dim them, brighten them or turn them off to sleep.

Lavatories are nothing but portable potties to be emptied after landing. "Honey Buckets".

You asked for a WIDE range of answers and it would take a while to figure out all you ask for. Good luck. Pops
