My favourite is a penguin, both ends bitten off, dipped into the tea or coffe and the liquid sucked through the biscuit till its soggy then eaten in one bite!

Because tea has more water molecules per centilitre of beverage than hot chocolate.
I just made that up...but doesn't it sound good?
Whilst we're on the subject of dunking...
I'm not a dunker myself and I have to wash his cup after my husband has dunked (and then left his cup on the draining board overnight) - so I HATE DUNKING!!
If you want your biscuit softened by your cuppa then take a bite of bikky then a sip of tea...flavours combined without leaving a crappy cup for someone else to wash...I HATE DUNKING!!
If you REALLY MUST...
Take a twix from the fridge - take a small bite from each end; place one end in your tea/coffee and suck til you get liquid...then shove the whole soggy mess into your big fat greedy face---
IT'S FABULOSO!
YUMMY SCRUMMY FOR YOUR TUMMY!!
But never forget...I HATE DUNKING!!!

This reminds me of Peter Kay live. Rich Tea's are wimp biscuits and Hob Nobs are the SAS of biscuits. Nothing gets through those suckers. My personal favourite is something like a drifter or a twix dunked in my tea. The caramel goes all nice and stringy and i like sucking the chocolate off of the outside! Yummy!

I would say that tea is hotter than hot chocolate and that is why the biscuit gets soggy so quickly? My fave biscuits for dunkin are Rich Tea and chocolate digestives.

Thought the best bit was fishing the bits out of your tea!!!
Choose a biscuit with substance (bourbons, custard creams, chocolate digestives), as thinner ones (rich tea) will fall apart easily.

The hot chocolate contains milk which contains lactose which contains lactic acid that you can make glue with- helps your biscuit to stick together. Tea is just a diffusion, made up of mostly water so things dissolve in it quickly.

Ginger Nuts, Coconut Creams, Custard Creams and Hobnobs are the best for dunking.
Chocolate is thicker than tea.

probably the chocolate milk is more dense so it doesn't soak as fast or something like that.
*** best part of the whole thing is dunking my firends no matter what you dunk or in what you dunk it.
*** For me buttered up and toasted french bread on a latte
*** Oreos or Cinnamon Buns in milk
*** Cranberry lemon scones in any tea w/ cream

Rich tea don't need to be dunked. Try a ginger nut.
