A cheap one that works well is Conaire with ceramic plates...and use a syrum before and while straightening (so your hair won't break, burn or dry out) something like Biosilk Silk Therapy your hair will come out so silky, soft and shiny and with no frizz or flyaways

My hair is also very thick, for years i tried to find a straightner that would make my hair flat but yet look healthy and not frizz out! There is a beauty store called SALLY'S and there you will find a lot of straightners there, and the best one, that i have been using for 4 years, is called the Curlmaster. It gets really hot, and it will straightner your hair like an iron would. Also, try to get some smoothing milk to make your hair look shiny after you straighten it. You can get that at Wal Mart, it is Garnier Fructies, is the best!!

remington hair straightners are reali gd. and some of them can b quite cheap. it depends how much you want to pay tho. the GHD ones are reali expensive but my mum has had hers for a while now and they work on any type of hair and dont brake (so far anyway) but they are quite expensive! x

I have the moist to without delay hair straightener, its low-cost and it fairly works nicely. you may regulate the nice and cozy temperature and use it even as your hair is moist and it would not damage it. in spite of the actual shown actuality that it would not damage even as your hairs moist, each and every straightener damages so makes use of warmth protection spray. you may get all of that at target.
