I was out shopping earlier today and in the supermarket was a woman with her three children, one in the trolley and two misbehaving behind her as she tried to do her shopping, they were screaming and being quite naughty and there i was with my one child wondering how on earth she does it? i will admit i find having one child hard and my mum had 5 children all under 7 years old!
also some of these mums hold down a job,
All you mums of more than one child i applaud you!
And any full time dads out there i applaud you too!

OK OK OK i'm talking about MUMS !
The ones who actually give a **** about their kids, the ones who bring them up,nurture them, the ones who actually do the things being a mum involves!

Thank you, raising kids is not easy by any means, and since the most of the care falls on the mother sometimes to survive you have to switch off for a while or else you'd pull out your hair....
As an ex Nanny and Childminder I have many a time had several children in my care including my own, by six at night I was totally exhausted, so three kids + for me it the norm, you adapt, you have to.I remember one Christmas eve, I had to work, so the minded children had to do the supermarket shop with me all 4 of them and I was 6 mths pregnant. I do remember the days of my first born, oh how much time I had, such a clean tidy house, no pile of ironing, and much more money, would I swap it, no way. I love my kids more than life its self.

Im glad someone realizes that parents cant keep their children perfect at all times. This sounds like me the other day. My husband works out of town, Ihave 3 boys and Im pregnant. I had to have my little one in the cart and the 2 older ones misbehaving and me getting after them every second it seems like. Im surprised I get any groceries home..lol. My kids are good kids dont get me wrong. They were nt being terrible. Just Me being pregnant and stressed I Think. But Then I saw a man alone with 7 small children! I thought WOW, how in the world is he doing that..lol. I agree that all parents even parents with one child deserve an award...:)

Well , thank you. Actually we only have one "so far". Number two on the way. But yes sometimes i wonder how our mothers did it. My mother also had five under the age of 7. That's quite the handful. But I must say, we turned out very well. My mom is just the greatest mother earth has ever had. That's why I try so hard to show appreciation, and also teach our kids to appreciate things in life. Cause after your mother passes on, all those little things mean so much to you.
And the award? Well my mother I'm sure will get a crown of gold in heaven for being the woman she has been.

So show love and appreciation to those who take care of you, that's our family motto.

I think that all Mums who love and care for their children should receive awards.

Especially mothers with unconditional love, and who are very supportive. Those who correct their kids when they know that they are wrong.

I could go on forever but yeah I do think the mums who do what I've just typed are cool.

I remember my mother and my mother in law saying a mother job is never done and we work hard and don't get paid for it. it is nice to hear when people say such nice things about mothers. I have three children, now grown. but when they where younger two where in diapers. they are 16 1/2 months apart. and the youngest is three years younger than my daughter. she is the middle child. I also had a wonderful husband to help me. I miss him.

Yes I whole heartily agree, weather you are a stay at home mom like me or work out side the home it is a very hard and time consuming job which truly needs more recognition. I also give cudos to all the dads who step out side the norm and do it.

Most mums are working hard for their kids and deserve some sort of recognition but there are also some awful ones.

AMEN! And thank you for not being irritated by her children...I had a lady try to give me parenting tips in the store once because my baby was crying and obviously bothering her. The nerve of some people!
