Gobar is a Hindi word for bio-gas. In India, power from animal waste has been used for centuries. It's used here, too. Usually it is blended into natural gas pipelines. "Natural gas" is the lightest fraction of crude petroleum. It consists of methane, ethane, a little propane, and a tiny bit of a stinky sulfur chemical known as a mercaptan. This is deliberately added so that humans can detect leaks before it becomes a problem.

Methane has been used informally as an energy source in the US for hundreds of years; mostly at summer camp to provide energy for entertainment as humorous light shows. Lately, adults have started harnessing septic digester gases and landfill gasses and, with some purification, selling the gas back to the pipeline. Ironically, the scrubber is intended to purify the gas by removing sulfur, the very same element that is added to the pipeline on purpose, but the used scrubber water becomes sulfuric acid which can also be sold. The process is a bit more sophisticated than lighting farts, but fairly straightforward science just the same. If you have a gas stove, you are cooking your food with farts.

Are you asking if you can make your own bio-gas? if so all you need is a bio-gas chamber and a big enough place OUTSIDE to put it.
