We love our Pets Best policy and felt like it gave us the best bang for our buck. You're smart to think of purchasing it *before* something goes wrong. I've heard horror stories about people who find out their pet is sick only to learn that pre-existing problems aren't covered. Best of luck!

Find out what is the best insurance. Get more information about lets say 3 insurance and see which one is best for you. I wanted to take out for my dog, but my dog does not go so much to the hospital or vet and the vet is affordable. Their is so much to look out but if your dog do get very ill and he / she is on chronicle medication it is good to have pet insurance and on the long run if you pet died they help with all the arrangements and that sort of stuff. I know Hollard do have pet insurance as well. Good luck for you hope you can make the right decision for you and you pet.

If youre in the UK, I use More Than pet insurance. Ive had 2 claims and they have paid within days without any hassle whatsoever.

Ask around, but if your dog is not a show dog or anything, what's the point. You will not get a lot of money if something happens to him.

I have had VPI for over three years and it's been good. About $334 for the superior level for one dog.
