My cat lives in the house, but I let it go anywhere freely either inside or outside the house. It never pee inside my house before but lately, it started to pee on the floor, especially on confined area, like behind the TV. What's wrong with it?, the weird thing is that it only pee in the house but never poop. and how to remove their urine smell on carpet?

Is it a male cat? If so, has he been neutered?
When a male cat reaches puberty & the hormones kick in, he'll start to mark his territory with his urine. But if he's neutered while still a kitten, he won't develop this habit.
In all honesty, it may be too late to break him of this. A veterinarian could advise you much better, though.
The odor is very difficult to remove from walls, carpets & furniture. Keep in mind that a cat's sense of smell is much more acute than a human's. So, he'll tend to return to the same spot, even if you can't smell it anymore. Try sprinkling baking soda on your carpet or furniture, let it sit for a few hours, then vacuum. There are also some good cleaners & odor netralizers available at any good store. But realistically, you probably need to have everything professionally cleaned. And, sorry to say, Kitty may have to stay outdoors permanently.
Good luck with this.

I don't know how to train your cat to go outside, but at least look into getting a litterbox so he doesn't ruin your carpet. Do ask a vet or a training specialist.
About the smell, it will not just go away on it's own. Clean your carpet very well. Van-mounted cleaners penetrate the carpet much more than the household steam cleaners. When he's peed on the carpet, it has very likely had the chance to soak all the way to the bottom of the carpet and beyond to the pad and perhaps to the floor beneath. If if made it to the floor beneath, it may soak into the cement and wood, making it very difficult to remove the smell.
If the above is the case and cleaning doesn take care of the smell, I'd suspect your cat has been peeing back there for longer than you think. Also, you'd need to replace the carpet, but while it's pulled up, seal the floor to stop the smell. Then put on new carpet. Hopefull just steam cleaning it will work, though.

It is unusual because cats prefer to do that outside if they have the choice to do so.
It is probably marking its territory.
1) Show him what he did and have a good yell at him so that he get the message.
2) I have a product from Exelpet which is a spray to eliminate stain and odour. Clean as much as you can of its pee and spray that on top of it. You may want to lift up the carpet as well if it is in a corner and spray under it.
3) Buy some coarse ground pepper and spray it behind the tele. When he smell that, he won't go there again.
Don't leave any electric power boards lying on the floor. They love peeing on them for some reason. And that could be very dangerous. For the cat and for you.

You don't say what sex it is???
If it is male and you have not had him castrated do so now! Males "spray" to mark their territory and there is nothing whatever that will stop them unless they are "done". It may not be too late if you act now, but you really should have had him done at the earliest opportunity before he developed the habit.
If the cat is a Queen, then I must ask if you have a cat litter tray available for her use? If so, and it is the case she is ignoring it, then you should have trained her as a kitten to pee in the tray - although most cats use the litter instinctively.
You need to use disinfectant on the carpet.

Most likely... your cat has marked its territory and that's why it keeps peeing in the same area. Like behind the TV. I would suggest trying to train your cat. Ask your vet. The smell on the carpet will hopefully go away but my best guess is get another carpet. But do see a vet.

I tamed a collection of feral kittens, who not in any respect observed clutter. They on the prompt knew what it replaced into. So i don't think of you should have a lot of a subject matter with the kitten. first of all, get 2 clutter bins. it fairly is only for convenience, as you've 2 cats. now and again they'll use one field for one interest, and the different field for the different interest. yet there is an additional project you may do. in a unmarried field, use a small quantity of clutter jumbled at the same time with some sand. The older cat will understand the sand as some thing customary. Then slowly decrease the quantity of sand till it is all clutter. you may also upload some airborne dirt and dust (potting soil) with the sand to extra approximate what she is probable utilizing through the farm.

Leave the cat outside for a longer period of time. It will start to find where other cats urinate and give it the urge to pee.
