my group is doing a debate on which pets are better. my friend picked a dog so i was stuck with a cat! can you guys tell me why cats are better than dogs and fishes that can bring my group members down and i can win the debate!

- cats are better because they don't need to get walked several times a day (they never need to get walked!)
- they smell much better
- they are cleaner (they wont eat other animals poo)
- they are way more inteligent
- their fur is much softer
- you can leave them for the weekend with out any problems
- they are smaller
- they dont chew up your shoes (I really love my shoes)
- they will get rid of your mouse problem, guarenteed.

This is a hard one cause dogs rock. Although cats are better pets than fish.

Because when you put a cat in a crab pot you catch more crabs.crabs wont eat dogs and they only eat fish when theres no cats.

i don't think cats are better than dogs but i can give some good things about cats such as they have softer fur, no need to walk them everyday, they'll chase rats and they are way quieter than dogs (they don't bark).

Cats can take care of themselves. They automatically know where to go to the bathroom, can find food on their own, and always come back to you even if they stay away.
