looks good, but you have to mix it up. I'm refering to the tuna, as it has mercury in it. you can only eat a couple of cans of tuna per week, otherwise you will exceed you daily intakes of mercury, there are other white fish that you can eat without having to worry about mercury in it (tuna for some reason keep it in their body)

This is a starvation diet. Far too little food (about 400 cal!). You may lose weight at first, but eventually your metabolism will slow down and you will not lose any more. You will not be getting enough nutrients, so your muscles will break down, your hair will fall out, your nails will get brittle...the list goes on. You may also black out from low blood sugar and experience constipation. NO woman should eat less that 1400 calories FOR ANY REASON! And you can lose a lot of weight on 1400 with a little exercise (45 minute walk). Here is a sample 1400 calorie menu.
Breakfast
1/2 cup oatmeal
1banana
1 cup orange juice
Lunch
2 slices whole wheat bread
2 oz turkey ham and 1 oz low-fat cheese
1 cup skim milk
pretzels
1 apple
Dinner
3oz skinless chicken breast
1 small baked potato
1 cup brocoli
Snack
Granola bar

It's healthy enough, but I think you're eating too little. Don't starve yourself. You could have several small meals (maybe 5-6) throughout the day instead of three big meals. That way you won't be feeling too hungry and lessens the possibility of overeating. Try to eat slowly--in 20 minutes you can feel as full as if you've eaten a lot even if you really only ate a little. It's a neat trick!
Also, drink lots of water so your tummy will feel full even if you haven't eaten that much. Drink a glass before you eat. :-D

The formula for losing weight is to work off more calories than you eat. But you need to eat foods that give you the proper vitamins and minerals a body needs. A good idea is to eat 5-6 small meals a day. Go to www.discovery.com and click on the Discovery Health section. I know you will get plenty of information you need to help you with your nutrition and health. Also try www.fitTV.com

that is VERY Healthy, however, you need more calories. If you have your meals like that, you will be starving. The best way to lose weight is to eat 5-6 SMALL meals a day. I would say that each of your meals are pretty small meals already. So in between breakfast and lunch, have a handfull of nuts. and in between lunch and dinner have another small snack. That will keep your metabolism going throughout the day and you won't starve either.

I am not sure if you are a bird or not. I am sure you would lose the weight if that was all that you ate. But I am sure you are not a bird.
Having variety is the better. I would not recommend alot of tune in the diet due the mercury. I would again recommend variety-sardines, cod, herring, etc. What are you drinking? Skim milk, soya beverage, water, veggie-fruit juices are good. Where is the oatmeal and rice in your diet plan? Beans, lentils and peas are also fillers with good things?

You need to add more veggies. The food you are eating is healthy but you need to add more veggies. Also be sure you are taking a good mulitvitamin and an antioxidant supplement to keep your immune system healthy. I would also consider adding something like chicken to your salad at night to be sure you are getting enough protein and do add a protein type snack mid morning and mid afternoon etc to help keep your blood sugar level.

There aren't enough calories in this menu to sustian an average female human for very long, and if you are a growing teenager, you will definately need more fuel-protien especially. We need a variety in our diets to keep us healthy. Your menu is fine for a few days a week, but on other days, you should alternate with a fuller, more assorted menu, containing more calories and variety.
