POP's....Are you serious? there are more factors in flying that just knowing what dose what when. Yeah you can use the controls to do what you want, but knowing what every instrument means and how to read them? Knowing weather and how to control the aircraft in extreme conditions. Recovering from unusual attitudes. Yeah being a pilot is easy work. I guess that's why the FAA requires 40 hours for a PPL and most do it in 65 hours. Driving a car and flying are two separate things. I don't know where your experience lies but apparently its not in flying!

That job is a VERY simple job.
The pilot has knobs or handles (Throttles) that he can move to make the engines go faster or slower.
He has a knob or handle he can raise and lower the flaps.
He has a "stick" or a wheel that move the ailerons which he uses to roll the aircraft, up on it's side, or used in conjunction with the rudder to turn the aircraft.
The rudder is controlled by the pilots feet to move the rudder in conjunction with the ailerons to turn the aircraft and to also help the aircraft fly side ways against a cross wind.
The landing gear handle raises and lowers the landing gear.
A person must learn when and how to use all those controls, and to what degree, to be able to fly an aircraft.
Flying an aircraft is easier than driving a car. In driving a car, you have to watch for all the clutter along the road, keep the siny side up and for idiot drivers. Flying a airplane, you only have to watch out for other airplans, the ground and where a car automatically goe up and down hills, the airplane only has YOU to keep it from going up and down.
Throw in some common sense and you are a pilot.

bypass on your close by known aviation form airport, and note an F.B.O. (fastened Base Operator) that sells aviation equipment. Plan to spend 1000's of funds, although the radios are digital and programable. make constructive the radio transmits to boot as recieves. This replaced into an impressive present theory!
