If the parents know something you don't know about that other person, then u need to look into what that is. They may only be protecting you from getting hurt. If there is not a legitimate reason and u are both adults, then tell them to mind their own business.

Parents normally want the best for their children. Parents, being older than children, will know better. There are many reasons why parents may object -race, culture, religion, social status, profession, persona, etc. But if the couple are old enough and matured enough to know what they are doing, parental objection shouldn't exist, but even if it does , the couple can clear up any misgivings among the objecting parents.

If you are under the age of consent unfortunately yes. However, if you are both adults, then make your own decisions. If you both love eachother, and their is no abuse involved in the relationship, make your own choice and family will just have to deal with it. Good luck and God bless*****

There are always reasons people wanna let go.If there is too much fighting and not enough love than its better to call it quits. But if its more simple and no apparent reason for wanting the break up well, if u really love them and wanna work on it than try.I always say that its always worth one more try. That way you really know if its worth saving or not.

Hell no!!!!! If you let your parents run your life as most people do even as adults you are a loser and will never have a life. Your misery will consume you and you will regret the decision for the rest of your life.

I would say no--but not knowing all the facts I can only guess--if it is a money or race issue then you should say screw it and be happy just let your feelings be known. After all your not dating their parents---be careful it might not work out if their parent are always getting involved--unless its your parents then you should listen to their reasons--if you don't agree then punch them in their f-----g mouth!!!

If 2 people love each other it shouldn't matter who opposes to it. If you want to be together and are happy then stay together. Who are they to brake up love?

NO. sometimes adults are selfish, they rather let your true love pass by and stick to their own conventional thinking.
