Your starting point has to be seeing yourself as an individual - there is only ONE YOU. So start eliminating trying to make your mark by doing what everyone else is doing. Sure, you need to work to eat, and you want some comforts in life. Everyone can easily get those things. But you want something SPECIAL, with your name on it, right? One thing you have that no one else does is THE PLACE YOUR BODY IS RIGHT NOW. What that means is that whatever comes your way that you can interact with is your opportunity space - and maybe the space of a very few others who are there too. So develop your gifts - whatever you can do to make yourself strong and ready to do the greatest thing when you get a chance, whenever an opportunity for having an influence presents itself. And try to do GOOD, because more people will help you to do good than to do bad. Everyone wants to back a WINNER. So work hard at everything and try to notice how many people help you to achieve your goals. That will give you an idea of how things work. Good luck.
