I am looking for something that isn't highly theoretical - but something that would help people with pronunciation and that would provide some useful tips & tricks.

Go to asha.com; it's the site for the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Or, call your local university speech and hearing clinic. They have courses in phonetics, and can advise you about which phonetics text they use. You can also learn the international phonetic alphabet.

It depends on what pronunciation you want to learn. Are you a non-native speaker of English, for example? Please give more information.
