Option 1. Don't drink if you are the designated driver.
Option 2. The body needs at least an hour for a 12 oz. beer to clear the system. Then you can begin to drive.
And no," Do Not " refuse the BAC test, you are automatically consider to be guilty by the Court. Getting a lawyer is a big waste of time, since 9 out of 10 you're found guilty anyway, and the judge will probably mandate you to sign up for DDP(Drinking driving Program). Lots of money ,energy and time wasted just to clear your driver's license. I should know, I work for DMV and I handle the Enforcement Unit, which deals with lots of DWI customers who had their license revoked. Take it from me,it's just not worth it!!!!!!

The easiest, 100% guaranteed way to prevent DWI/DUI...works every time, never failed...is to NOT DRIVE DRUNK, IDIOT. Other than that, there is no way. And if you are among the stupid people who do drive drunk, you deserve what happens to you. I just hope that you don't harm someone else as a result.

if you get pulled over and you realise you are intoxicated - you must refuse the sobriety tests. you may lose your license, but that's why we have so many lawyers all over the place.
