That is difficult to answer as it would be a Pagan religion and as Paganism goes back tens of thousands of years to a time before humans could read and write there is no written data in the form of holy writings. Hinduism may be old but it is not the oldest religion still in practice as the Olde Ways, Paganism, are not only still going after all that time but more and more people are turning towards the peaceful spirituality of more nature based religions - myself one of them.

Sanatana Dharma or HInduism is the oldest religion. some western scholars argue that is as old as 5000 plus years. in reality it is much older than any research scholar can imagine. if i say its older than a million year, many will not believe. NASA had taken the picture of the bridge between india and srilanka, Ramsetu or what british called the adams bridge. NASA confirmed that it is as old as 17.50 million years and it is man-made. it certainly points out that there were human life much earlier to that period and Sanatana Dharma or Hinduism was in existence at that time.

there are many other instances which i can take as examples to strengthen my arguments that Hinduism is the oldest living faith. no wonder it is called the Eternal Religion.

What we call today Hinduism but actually is the Vedas, that means knowledge and all types of knowledge are there, who is the Lord, how to worship him, how to achieve His abode; scientific, medicine knowledge ,etc.
The real religion is about the soul and the Supreme Soul therefore eternal. Real Religion can't be the oldest or new, but without beginning or end, eternal, as the soul and God are, not created by man; but since the Hinduism is from the Vedas and the Vedas is eternal, the first religion organisation logically is the Hinduism.

In fact, the oldest of the four main religions is Hinduism. Hinduism has the oldest recorded roots in Dravidianism. Dravidianism was estimated to have been practised around 6000 to 3000BCE and as such predates Sumerian, Egyptian and Babylonian cultures.

God and Adam & Eve hd a relationship until it was broken when Satan decieved Eve and Adam deliberately disobeyed God.. It was not a religion.
Job had a relationship with God.
Noah had a relationship with God.
Abraham had a relationship with God.
God told Adam how to sacrifice to Him.
Abel had a relationship with God and sacrificed to God according to God's specifications.
Cain thought he could sacrifice in his own way, not God's way. That would be the first and oldest religion. He thought more highly of himself than he did of God. His religion would be the religion of self.
Lamech, the father of Noah, was the first polygamist and the second murderer. He had no regard for God. He could have been classified as an Athiest.
There was much paganism before Noah, that is why the earth was destroyed by a flood.
God told Abraham how to sacrifice to Him but by that time there were many religions who followed after false gods which you could call pagan.

If we're talking about surviving Religions, then it's Hinduism, hands down.

Vedic Hinduism is known to be over 60,000 years old.

Buddhism and Jainism are slightly younger.

Judaism is 6,000 years old.

Christianity is 2006 years old.

While Islam, I don't know if we can consider this a "Religion" though, is slightly over 600 years younger than Christianity.
