Can someone have a reaction to sweet grass? Got sick right after and was sick for a day.?

I got sick after smudging and burning of sweet grass at a function I attended. Is this possible, is sweet grass like everything else that someone might be highly sensitive to?

Yes, it does happen. My cousin had a similar reaction when she first tried it a couple of years ago. It is used for making some alcoholic beverages, I am sure it has some ingridients that can be nasty.
