Albert is a very vibrant, wealthy, booming province, with the "prettiest" areas along the Rockies. It can be very pricey to live. It's not boring nor flat. Calgary and neighboring tourist areas like Lake Louise and Banff are spectacular. Very friendly and now very busy areas. (National Geographic name Lake Louise most beautiful place on earth.) Naturally warmer in south Alberta of course, but weather is never fierce in any respect. You could do a google search to narrow it down to a community that holds the most to interest you. IF ever in the Ottawa Valley, near Ottawa, Ontario, check out Renfrew County. It is historic, fun, crazy, wild, near big cities and just plain friendly.

We do not have zip codes, we have postal codes. Depending on where you are moving Alberta covers about the 1/5 of the whole United States in area...so you can't drive end to end in a few hours. You need to be more specific.

In my opinion the cutest (quaintest?) places in Canada are in the Maritime provinces: Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland. Alberta is very nice, but I don't know that I'd describe many, if any, towns or cities there as "cute"

What makes you think Canada would want you? I have some extra luggage drop me a line and I will get it ready for you. Do you need a ride to the border? It gets awful cold there you might reconsider Mexico they are looking for a few new taxpayers. And take the Baldwin brother with you that still has not left after he promised to go also. Canada has a tax rate of over 50 per cent to pay for their socialist programs good luck with all that.
