They believe that the Dalia Lama is continuously reincarnated back to this Earth and that when he dies, shortly after, HE will be born again, so they take the child that they think is the Dali Lama, and they teach him Buddhism. They train him.

Since the Tibetan Buddhists believe in reincarnation, they search for the reincarnation of a former Dali Lama to fill the position. It works for them. I have met the current Dali Lama. VERY nice man.

The Tibetan Monks are searching for the Dalai Lama in his new reincarnation.
Their belief is that he is reborn in a new body every time he dies.

I FEEL THAT THE DALAI LAMA INSTITUTION WILL FADE AWAY IF THE PRESENT LEADER DIES.
