Hi , I want to send something for a good friend who is getting married at the end of the month, what on earth could I send (from the US) I have never been married and usually stay clear from weddings , so I am abit of a dud at this, thank you

The best gift that they will love is a nice picture frame, 8x10 or 5x7, they will use it and you can get em cheap...even nice ones at the dollar store, will cost you more to ship it than to buy it.
It will be cheaper to send than almost anything and trust me, they will LOVE it and use it. It won't be one of those gifts that sits in the attic...or gets "recycled"...
It's thoughtful, inexpensive, usefull, and they will love it!!!!

How about a ceramic knick knack that represents a newly married couple/family? "Precious Moments" makes some really nice, cute ones. Or maybe a "Hummel" if you are willing to spend a little more. You can usually find these at any Hallmark store.

Send a check for what you can afford via post. If you send something in the mail, postage might be more expensive than the actual gift.

You could go with a gift card for a store in their area. That gives them flexibility and saves you figuring out the specifics.
You could buy it through the web and either have it delivered to them or mail it yourself. You should be able to get one denominated in any currency so it will work out well in their area.

bottle of wine maybe ? you could order it and have it shipped there. they will probably get glasses for a gift. So give em something to put in them. Maybe a romantic cd too.
