bad struts or shocks rear out of alignment improper rotation low pressure. if your tires are out of balance then you would have a vibration in the seat. if your front tires are out of balance your steering wheel shakes it may come and go at different speeds. Once your tires start cupping they will continue. have an alignment and the struts checked before you replace the tires and remember to rotate them at the manuals recommended interval

Get a second opinion. My ford dealer in York, PA charged me over $600 for changing four spark plugs (located in easy reach in front of the engine) and four spark plug wires, and had the nerve to tell me that it took four hours to accomplish. Bunch of crooks.

It is cause by tires out of balance, there is no weight on front wheel drive cars in the rear, so its hard to tell if they are out of balance, like when they are low of air.
