Instead of using 2 sets of 12 hour time periods,
you use 1 set of a 24 hour time period, therefore,
after 12 noon the time goes as follows:
1 is 13:00 hours
2 is 14:00 hours
3 is 15:00 hours
4 is 16:00 hours
5 is 17:00 hours
6 is 18:00 hours
7 is 19:00 hours
8 is 20:00 hours
9 is 21:00 hours
10 is 22:00 hours
11 is 23:00 hours
12 is 24:00 hours
Just remember to add the 12 to any hour after noon and you will know what time it is in military time

Military Time is pretty easy to learn! All you have to do is subtract 12 off numbers 13 and above, and that is the time in PM. 00:00 to 11:59 is AM, and 12:00 to 23:59 is PM. 00:00 is one of the variable ones, because some clocks say 24:00 or 00:00, but it still is 12 o' clock in the morning (hopefully you are not working that late at work :))
Hope that helps

It is not that hard for all over 12p add 12 to it like 1pm is 1300, 2pm is 1400, 3pm is 1500, 4pm is 1600, 5 is 1700, 6 is 1800, 7 is 1900, 8 is 2000, 9 is 2100, 10 is 2200, 11 is 2300 and 12am is 000, then 1am 0100, 2am 0200, 3am is 0300, 4 is 0400 and 5 is 0500 and on and on it is not that hard

easiest way to learn it is to only start by memorizing what you need. if you get off at 4pm remember that is 1600. i always remembered 4,6,9 pm. then if you have a time like 7 you just add one to 6so instead of 1800 you have 1900. once you use it for 3 days you'll be tellin time and people will think your wierd for tellin them 1900.
