Why is it so difficult to decide upon what we have to do with our lives?

Why can't somebody from heaven come and tell us our destiny?

Create a spiritual resume, and consider how you can improve it.

Be happy...it's catchy.

Not so difficult if one has a step-by-step plan:

Step 1: Discover your gifts and talents (Everyone has them.).

Step 2: Find a need in society that requires your gifts and talents.

Step 3: Act. Words without deeds are meaningless.

Step 4: Submit to the Will of God. (e.g. pray, walk through open doors, accept closed doors)

Because for many of us the options are far wider now than they have ever been?

If you were exposed to only one religion, in one well defined social order and set of cultural values, the question of how to live might not even have arisen. You did what your father did, and your values were given you by the local lord and local priest.

Now, you have the whole world.
Of course its more difficult.

Regarding Mankind, GOD says in the HOLY QURAN, HE created man with clay/dirt. So earth got different colour mud/sand/dirt/clay, in this way Mankind created in different different color and after death mankind will return back to dirt and then GOD will resurrect whole mankind on the day of judgement for the accountability
GOD created mankind for test and final destination will be either ETERNAL PARADISE or HELL WITHOUT CHOICE
GOD already knows whom HE will be going to admit in paradise or hell. But people of HELL will say to GOD you have not done justice why you have not admitted us in paradise. That is why GOD created EARTH for the TEST for mankind only for excuse. If people believe in GOD and obey HIM, HE will admit them in paradise otherwise hell. That is how people of HELL will not have any excuse in the hereafter.

Freedom of Choice

[33:72] GOD have offered the responsibility (freedom of choice) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they refused to bear it, and were afraid of it. But the human being accepted it; he was transgressing, ignorant.

[33:73] For GOD will inevitably punish the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women, and the idol worshipping men and the idol worshipping women. GOD redeems the believing men and the believing women. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

we have an agenda to perform while on this plane of existence. to my way of thinking we are to gain as much wisdom and knowledge as possible and teach it to others so it won't be lost in order to help mankind be a little bit better off than when we first came here
