why do some people like to be aggressive during "love making"?

i started reading this novel and was repulsed - the scene didn't appear loving and passionate but quite the opposite. i was surprised because the author was a woman.

why wouldn't you desire a gentle and devoted partner

from what i've read, it's the abused people who engage in that kind of activities 'cause that's what they, sadly, exp. themselves

If it didn't appear to be loving and passionate to you, but the opposite, then it wasn't lovemaking. An aggressive and rough lover can be dangerous and is far different than hot, steamy sex with someone a person trusts. Even dominate/submissives have a code word that the submissive can use to say "stop' and the dominate has to honor that. I read it in a book, ok? LOL

I think the aggressive thing could be really fun at times, if and only if both people really trust and really love each other. Gentle and loving is best, at least for a start. If and when it gets boring, sometimes you have to spice it up. Make sure both people can handle it though. If somebody has ever been abused, they probably would not like it.

some times they do it to spice up their love life.. it only works if both people are open to it.. more than likely it is all role play .. like the handcuff are plastic and you can easily break free if you want to and the cat of nine tails is all ribbon..it is more for the mind to let your self explore different areas of love making..personally i never found a man willing to try it .. they are all on line wanting to cyber lol
