You might have a sweet tooth, or a cavity. It's also possible that you have teeth that are sensitive to sugar. And depending on were the tooth is it could be something even bigger. My advice is go see a dentist.

Hey Kahr :) When the tooth has a decay ( may be too small or hidden to see it) that bacteria live in. when you eat chocolate the bacteria transforms the sugar very fast (in like 4 sec) into acid, which makes you feel pain. go get your teeth checked by a dentist and hopefullyyou get it fixed soon :)

I have the same problem, but before I realised what was behind the pain, I talked it over with my GP's nurse. She thought that maybe I was allergic to chocolate and at the same time told me to brush my teeth with Sensodyne. I did that and the pain vanished without a visit to the dentist. I munched some chocolate pieces later on, and the pain sufficed oncemore. So I have stopped eating chocolates or anything with cocoa even, toffees and I'm still stuck with Sensodyne. I'm not embarassed to tell anyone that I don't eat chocolates, though they appear surprised, my health comes first.

It might just be a sensitive tooth, you may need to go to the dredded dentist if it gets worse though, i got this 'tooth mousse' from the dentist and it really works, stops my teeth being sensitive! £15 a tube, but really worth it! good luck!

You should go see your dentist, you might have a cracked or chipped tooth. Don't wait, it will just get worse and cost more to fix later on.

You may have a tiny cavity, or very sensitive teeth. Use the toothpaste for sensitive teeth while waiting to see your dentist.
