The Beast appears as a satanic version of Christ. We have to be careful what we are looking for because the Jews missed Jesus when he came because they were waiting for a worldly warrior, not the suffering servant lamb that takes away the sins of the world. The Beast could be a literal man like many think or a messenger of GOD like Muhammad or anyone or anything else that resembles Jesus Christ. So watch and pray. We will see soon enough.
May GOD richly bless you.

Hi there.

I don't know what verse in the Bible you are referring to. I've certainly never read such a thing.

However, the Bible has these things to say about the anti - Christ -

First, that he shall be revealed before the return of the real Christ - 2 Thessalonians 2:3 - 4. Here he is called "the man of sin (or lawlessness) who will sit in the temple of God, exalting himself above God and all that is worshipped. When this passage was originally written (approx. 51 - 52 A.D.), the temple of God was still standing in Jerusalem. That is now no longer the case. Many Christians (including myself) believe in the literal fulfillment of these words, hence, the Jewish temple must be rebuilt. After all, what temple was in the mind of the writer ?

Revelation speaks of two beasts, one from the land, one from the sea. The first beast mentioned, the beast from the sea, is identified by many believers as the anti - Christ. He is apparently a political leader (Rev. 13:2) who receives from Satan the worldly authority which the true Messiah, the Lord Jesus, refused when subjected to diabolical temptation (Matthew 4:8 - 10). The fact that Revelation 13:4 speaks of the beast receiving worship suggests that he is to be identified with "the man of sin" in 2 Thessalonians. Chapter 13 of Revelation also mentions another beast in verse 11 onwards, who "had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon" (i.e. appears to be docile, but is actually quite fierce within) who will cause the people of the earth to worship the first beast (verse 12). By means of "great signs" including making "fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men", this false prophet will deceive the inhabitants of the earth to accept the counterfeit Messiah & worship him (verses 13 - 14). This word in Revelation 13 corresponds to the same kind of teaching in 2 Thessalonians 2:9 - 10. God will allow this anti -Christ and false prophet (possibly a pope ?) to deceive all those who refused to receive the truth of forgiveness & salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, His death to pay for our sins and His resurrection (2 Thess. 2:11 - 12).

There are many who believe that the two beasts are symbolic of worldly government & false religion. Although there is some truth in this, I believe that they are actual persons. The Bible speaks of the beast & the false prophet eventually being judged and thrown into the lake of fire to be "tormented day and night forever and ever" (Rev. 20:10), along with the devil. How can symbols experience torment ? It is my view that these are actual persons who represent false religion & this world's God - opposing governments. Revelation 13:17 - 18 speaks of the number of the beast (whatever that may be) being "the number of a man". He will be an actual person.

Interestingly, the Greek term translated "antichrist" can be rendered two ways - it can be taken to be as "one opposed to Christ" or "one in the place of Christ". A counterfeit Messiah, in other words. Bear in mind that the Jews (for the most part) are still awaiting the coming of their Messiah as predicted in the Bible. They rejected the real one. In John 5:43, in speaking to the Jewish religionists, the Lord Jesus said, "I have come in My Father's name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive". A prophecy of anti - Christ, perhaps ?

May God bless you.

There is no scripture that says that the anti-Christ will be Christ's twin. It's not in the Bible.

Only 4 specific twins mentioned in the Bible.

Genesis 25
24 When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb. 25 The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau. 26 After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau's heel; so he was named Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them.

Genesis 38
27 When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb. 28 As she was giving birth, one of them put out his hand; so the midwife took a scarlet thread and tied it on his wrist and said, "This one came out first." 29 But when he drew back his hand, his brother came out, and she said, "So this is how you have broken out!" And he was named Perez. 30 Then his brother, who had the scarlet thread on his wrist, came out and he was given the name Zerah.

And possibly 1 more, Didymus means twin.

John 11:16
Then Thomas (called Didymus) said to the rest of the disciples, "Let us also go, that we may die with him."

there's no such verse. the anti-Christ will be a deceiver, and yes there are ever more terrible things to come but those that have been saved by the grace of God will not have to endure these things.

IT IS NOT SAID IN THE BIBLE IN ANYWHERE THAT JESUS HAD A TWIN AND IT IS ANTI CHRIST, sINCE THE PERSON OR PERSONS ACT AGAIST GOD'S PRINCIPLES THEY OR HE IS CALLED ANTI CHRIST, IT IS THE SATAN HIMSELF ACTING IN THE WORLD AGAINST GOD AND GOD'S CHILDREN. CHECK THE PERSON'S VISION WHO SHOWED YOU THE VISION. IT IS WRONG.
