If you ask people to calm you down, you will only get more nervous. Relax and chill. What you need to do now is to tell yourself: "I will do just fine." I have been on stage couple times and all i do is just look far away, far far away. Don't ever make eye contact with audiences and pretend you are standing in the middle of nowhere, where there is no one at all. You can do it. Good luck.

Everyone gets a little nervous and that's okay. But if the nervousness is to the point that it affects your performance, that's not. Before you begin, take a minute to compose yourself and get completely in character. Forget that people are there to judge you and think only about the part you play. Practice doing this alone first until you can be in character the minute you are on the stage. Your first words should be with you totally immersed already in character. When you master the art of being in character before you even walk onto the stage or in the room, you will no longer be nervous because you'll be oblivious to them.

Believe me I have done a lot of stage work. Done some dramas too. Only way not to feel nervous is to lower your defense. It is ok if u make a small mistake, but if you are nervous you will do worse than what your real abilities are. Just stop caring, be like whatever, and just do it. Focus on doing it rather than how the other person is thinking about you. Be like I dont give a sh*t what they think about me. N you will do even better than u ever thought u could do.

The trick is to be constructive! Even you screw up purely a sprint right here and there stay useful. there is no longer something to be worried approximately, the judges are there to concentration on your skill so confirm you sing your coronary heart out. finding presentable provides on your self belief and which you will close your eyes (passionately) ones in a nicely to hekp you get 'in the zone'! in simple terms suited good fortune!

Make sure that when its your turn to make it look like you know what you're doing even if you don't. When I auditioned for our play, they let me read through the part that I was supposed to do first, then I went ahead and did it. If you're working by yourself, look out to the audience from time to time (shows that you have experience and acknowleged the audience...I was the only one who did that and got a part!). If you're working with others, interact with them as if you were preforming.

Before you go, bring some music to listen to so you can relax. It helps a lot.

It is important for you not to be super excited (no soda, no coffee, no tea, no chocolate) Take fifteen to twenty minutes prior the audition to clear your mind and be calm. Don't forget to go to the bathroom! Don't talk to the other people who are there taking the audition.

Me dear friend,

I myself have been in many plays. It is nothing to be nervous about. Make yourself of the idea that it is NORMAL.

LISTEN TO ME:
You are not on the stage . You are on the street playing with your friends.
They are all your friends. You will do just fine.

Relax.

Those guys are just doing a job. Impress them :)

Kiss kiss my dear one. Let us know how was it .

Deep breaths. Remember, you know these people.

Most people tend to think that their acting won't be its best, so they get nervous. Ever think that your acting won't be its best BECAUSE you're nervous? Remain casual, like you're at a friend's house.

"Fake it 'til you make it." Meaning, convince yourself that you KNOW you have it until it's over. When you're reading, don't ACT [whatever the mood is], BE [whatever the mood is]
