Lighter body weight=slower falling speed=Allows them to adjust their body according to prepare for landing.
I only know about cats.
Anyway, why would lizards fall? They have sticky feet.

Actually, Cats (i don't know about lizards) have a better chance of surving falling off a ten story building then 4 because it takes them a while to realise their falling so when falling ten stories they eventually realise and get ready so, it's pretty much all about their reflexs and how smart they are.

its flexability alows it to move in any direction while falling, allowing to then to position themselvs before the hit the ground
