If a relationship is meant to be it will.......if they were your true "soul mate" they would still be with you...right?"...so look at it this way.they came along to open your heart in a certain way....to help you learn something and to recognize what you need in your lifelong partner...don't give up...they are out there.and every relationship you have until then teaches you a little bit about yourself and human nature as a whole.

Move on, remember the good times - BULL!

Have these people never been dumped!?! Never lost a true love?!?

Yes, time does heal all wounds, but if you are asking this question - unless you have a time machine - you will not be able to heal right now.

Remembering the good times is what has you here - not out moving on. Relationships are trial runs until you meet the "real deal". If you thought she was the real deal, and you aren't together anymore, it was maybe more like a dress rehearsal.

LEARN FROM IT. Look at the relationship. Was it out of balance? Where you needy, was she needy? Was someone more independent than the other? Did you do something regularly that she didn't reciprocate? What about you not giving back to her. Grow from this experience. Become a better person because of it.

Don't walk away from a relationship like you are leaving a movie theatre...wipe your tears, go grab a burger, and never look back. Reflect - this doesn't mean mope! Look back to see what could have been different. THIS WILL NOT GET HER BACK, but will make you a stronger, more loving and understanding person when the "real deal" comes along.

Best to you - heartache sucks.

I don't think there is a need to forget someone you love the most. It is more that you remember and cherish those memories you shared with that person because it a learning experience in love and this can lead you to be able to love others who may come along. It will also help you heal faster if the breakup was a nasty one. Especially if that person really hurt you, you can only look at them and understand that we are all human and we are all learning. And also you can never love someone the same way you loved another. Every time you fall in love with someone it is always a different kind of love, or you just experience that there are different ways of feeling love for someone?

Letting go of someone you love so much is a hard thing to do. But trust me, at the end, it will all be worth it. If you're holding on to someone even though you can't have them, its just the same as caging yourself and not letting yourself experience all the other possibilities out there. If you think that your relationship still has a chance, then fight for her. But someday, you WILL have to move on. There are lots of other people out there that will deserve your love and attention. Don't isolate yourself from seeing all the other beautiful opportunities that are waiting for you. You just have to find it. =)

It's not like a tap or a switch where you can easily switch it off just to forget her. Time heals all wounds and usually when one have found someone else. Move on and hopefully sooner or later you will feel better.

i became to the conclusion that if u need really to forget someone keep in touch with him. when u loose contact, u forget about bad things and remember the good ones. and everything seems like u had lost the best thing in your life.
stay friends so u can learn to dislike him, because at the end no one is perfect...
