I really do not think you would see Jesus "jamming" to the music.
However, I do believe that Jesus sees in his heart that the new move on Christian music is reaching out and affecting those that would normally not be affected by the traditional music. If it makes a difference in someones life then let it be.

As I told one of my good friends who had the same question about contemporary music, he liked Southern Gospel. Would Jesus have listened to Southern Gospel? If it glorifies God in the hearts of the listeners, then it is good.

Why wouldn't he?
I doubt Jesus really cares what kind of music we listen to. It's the music in our hearts that means the most.

Not because he would not like the music.
I doubt if he would think much of the judgmental message though.

Well, it may not fit into your ideas but it's no worse than associating Christ with country....
You have no idea what Christ would have listened too...for all you know, he may have favored the likes of Eddie Vedder or Coldplay.

Mav wonder if you ever see a Jewish celebration? They certainly don't celebrate with hymns.
