PowerPoint is part of Microsoft Office, together with Word, Excel and Access. If you don't have Office, you should install it. Of course you have to purchase it first.

If you have problem getting a licensed version of Office, I recommend using open Office from Sun http://www.openoffice.org/. It has a PowerPoint like program IMPRESS which can even save presentations in PowerPoint format. Enjoy it!

PowerPoint is part of MS Office. MS Office does not come standard on a Dell unless you specifically ordered it when you purchased the computer. Do you have MS Word, MS Excel? If so, then you probably do have PowerPoint. It should be under Start > All Programs > Microsoft Office > PowerPoint

Powerpoint is not necessarily on every Windows. You can buy it somewhere or can download a similar programm (IMPRESS) on www.openoffice.org
it's about the same as powerpoint and if you use your own laptop for the presentation you shoulden't have any problems.
Otherwise you can ask a friend to lend you their MS office CD which should include Powerpoit. Maybe you have a cd too, just have a look on it.

get to the store and buy it. Unless you ordered MS office with the new laptop they didn't install it. Powerpoint is part of MS office and its sold in most stores and you can order it online. You need either Office 2003 Small Business or Office 2003 Professional which both have Powerpoint in it.

Microsoft Office (the package you get PowerPoint with) is not free. You need to pay $150 for that pile of junk. Try OpenOffice.org. It has it's own presentation program called Impress, and it can do everything PowerPoint can do. Plus, it's free! Go to http://www.openoffice.org/

just because it has Xp doesnt mean that it comes with the full version of microsoft office. but most likely it does have a 30 day version.

go to> Start>All Programs> "it should be here either by itself or under the Microsoft Office tab"

If not check the documentation that came with the laptop, if you do have it you will definelty have some papers with it.

If not, your out of luck ,and either need to buy or "acquire" a copy
