London is a beautiful place to enjoy on the eve of New year and Xmas's.The city is started shining from 2ND week of December till 1st of Jan every year. You will find festive season and various sale schemes during this period. However there are many best places according to me.They are as under -
1.Themes River cruse - take a moonlight trip which will delight you on any evening.
2.Tower of London - a beautiful place to see treasure of the world
3.Trafalgar's square - a place where lot of people spend evening
4.Piccadilly circus - there is a Broadway and other theaters where you can enjoy world best Dramas and ballets. Also enjoy foods nearby. There is an Indian Restaurant " SAPNA " in Harrow Area where tasty food is served with smile and music.
Thanks for asking such question which took me back to London where I had spend my beautiful Days.
