Hmmm... I'm struck by the fear that you feel more than the details of the dream. Faith is supposed to comfort, not terrorize. If you are frequently frightened that the spirit world is waiting to attack you, then this sounds more like superstition than faith.
Consider talking to one your pastor about spiritual exercises that may help you gain greater peace of mind, "the peace of God that passeth all understanding" (Philippians 4:7).
That may help you more than trying to interpret dreams. (After all, dreams happen in your brain, and quite frankly they are a natural occurrence, even among animals.)

Your dreams are how the meaning-making parts of your brain interpret the impulses that go on when there is relatively little sensory input. They ARE directed, loosely, anyway by your beliefs and goals, but they do not have great symbolic meanings.
Your dreams are most certainly not "messages from God", as they're not messages of any sort, and there is no god.
If you find the interpretation of this dream as a message from god "urgent", I think that you should strongly consider talking with a professional who can help you to establish better contact with reality. Since you "woke Up terrified", you might also want to talk with that person about "sleep terrors". They're common, and fairly normal, and do not reflect the kinds of meanings you seem to want to have.

They are just dreams. Take it easy.
There is also a phenomenon sometimes called "waking dreams", that can be quite frightening. It happens to me sometimes. It's due to sleep paralysis.
Basically, when you sleep, your body becomes mostly paralyzed. It prevents you from roaming about, acting out your dreams. Sometimes, the brain wakes up before the rest of the body. The feeling often includes dream remnants, the feeling that others are in the room with you, etc.. Finally, the rest of the body wakes up, and you're free of that feeling of attempting futilely to open your eyes.
Uncomfortable, sometimes vivid, but still quite natural.

I don't know much about the Angel James, But the only thing I see from your dream is that you have two things that is battling inside between good and evil inside. And its your subconscious telling you that you have to get this thing settled. If you are a church going person, then maybe you should go and pray or just pray at home and ask for his guidance. He'll help. All you got to do is ask for it. And don't forget to pray for the people who need help also. Remember God loves all his children.
So, just figure out whats bothering you and you will figure out what God wants.

No one, even bad spirits, can harm you without your permission. You are actually very powerful and other spirits are usually scare of us. Regarding your dream, it can mean two things; either because of your anxiety that manifest itself into dreams, or it really is an angel trying to relate you a message. Anyhow, no need to fear. Fearing is a low-base emotion that will allow what you don't want to, to happen. Before you go to sleep, ask your angels for protection and guidance. Ask to know whatever you need to know. Believe and have faith.

Only through God's help can one interpret dreams.
Read the Book of Daniel at Biblegateway.
If you want to know what your dream means there is a letter written by James. You can read it by going to Biblegateway and putting in 'Book of James' in their Search.
