Religion is man trying desperately and unsuccessfully to reach God.
Relationship to God is achieved by letting God reach down to the individual by the method He has chosen as described in 2 Ways to Live.

flocks of sheep gathering at a pen every week. Jesus didn't want his teachings to become a religion, he wanted people to change the way the thought about themselves. He didn't want his teachings written down, to be learned by the mind, he wanted them passed down in stories to be learned by the heart.
Religion is for the weak that cannot stand alone in the presence of God and know Him.

As i am a christian i don ot have a religion because its man made. i love my God and trust in him because he has started to show us peace and love and we as people started religion which is the main cause of degrading worlds life in todays world.
