Just 2 words: Enjoy it!
Don't know where exactly are you planning to travel but if it's Santa Cruz (where the Glaciers are) you can do great things like trekking on the Glacier, flying on a ballon, riding horses. If you're going a bit upwards in the map :) like Mendoza, you can do rafting, there are cool rivers there! You can climb mountains too. You'll surely enjoy it no matter where you're going, our South is the best part in my country.
See if that link helps, seems the best I found in English

Patagonia is a cool place and well worth a visit, it offers a wonderful contrast in scenery and landscapes.
You could start in the coastal resort of Puerto Madryn famous for the whales but you need to be there between August and December then head south passing Punta Tombo and then onto Rio Gallegos - the gateway to the gaciers. In El Calafate or to be exact 60 kms away you will find some of the world's most incredible sights, the glaciers are just awesome, listening to them groaning and breaking is just a wonderful experience. From here you should organise a trip to El Chalten and Fitzroy also, amazing peaks.
Head down to Ushuia the end of the world here you can stay a good few days, the prison is worth a visit as is the railway to the end of the world.
Back upto then Esquel and El Bolson before hitting Bariloche, Villa Langostura and then through the Camino de los 7 lagos - super. You can finish in San Martin de los Andes and then just up the road in Junin you can climb the Lanin Volcano, a perfect cone.
There is so much to see and do I could go on forever, beware of the distances to do all I have just mentioned, travelling by coach you would need a month. So plan it with time to spare.
Have fun,

One of the best travel websites I have ever found is www.travelpod.com. Contained therein are the exploits of world travelers and LOTS of pictures. Go there, some of them are quite good writers. If you don't use any other resource you will be served well at travelpod.

It's a wonderful experience. Here's an article about Argentina and its regions. There's also a link for hostels and other accommodations: http://www.macquil.com/articles/argentina.php

Wildness? I don't think so, it's the most developed region in all Latin America.
