About to buy flight tickets for Bangkok (travelling in Jan 2007). Is there any benefit in waiting a while before buying - Xmas discounts etc?

Hi
As a rule on schedule flights the eariler you buy the lower the price you get. As airlines book more passgenger they generally raise their fares.

Xmas discounts? What is that? That only applies to the retail sector.

Since 9/11, The airlines are operating leaner, they are operating fewer planes, using fewer workers, it is best to book as early as possible. A good time to book in the United States is after midnight Pacific Standard Time on a Tuesday. Or rather early Wednesday morning.

Good luck
