There are many words we use to describe attractive people but what are the differences between them? how would you put them in order from least to most attractive.

* good looking
* cute
* pretty
* beautiful
* gorgeous
* stunning
etc...

You've already put them in the perfect order from least to most attractive actually.

good-looking is just a generic term to mean pleasant to look at.
cute is a bit more specific but still not as flattering as pretty.
pretty is attractive but not extraordinary.
beautiful is extraordinary.
gorgeous is extremely beautiful, the most beautiful.
stunning is extremely gorgeous, so much that the person is actually stunned.

I love being called gorgeous. I think I've only been called stunning a couple of times in my whole life. Any of them are nice to hear though!

in order from least complementary to the most complimtentary, in my eyes are

*cute - something that gets your attention and makes you smile for a brief moment
*pretty- you have aknowledged they have attractive features
*good looking- they are simply easy on the eye
*gorgeous- something/someone that would would like to own/be with, simply because of the way they look
* stunning- something/someone totally breath taking and mind blowing
* beautiful- something/someone you are proud of and would never want to change

good looking

beautiful
gorgeous
etc....

for me, there is no direct progression of levels of attractiveness because of the situation,appropriateness and connotation of each of the above terms.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but what is beautiful in not necessarily pretty

i'd say "gorgeous"first tnen stunning,beautiful,good looking,pretty and cute at last...just guessing...but i think gorgeous is the strongest one!i melt when i hear that!
